-Daikon Oilseed Radish is grown as a cover crop, for grazing, or in wildlife food plot. 

-This crop is a cool season annual with an extra-long taproot great for breaking up compacted soils. 

-The leafy top-growth provides great forage and both deer and livestock will dig up the long, flavorful taproots when mature.

-Livestock producers should be aware that when grazing radishes, other forages may be needed to provide a complete nutritional program. 

-Daikon Oilseed Radish is best planted with oats, annual rye, sudan grass, or other types of forage to help provide enough dry matter for grazing.
