-Ladino is a highly palatable and very nutritious forage for all classes of livestock.

-It is best planted with forage grasses such as orchard grass, tall fescue, or perennial ryegrass because its growth can become very aggressive and may increase the risk of bloat. 

-Ladino is also a major component of many deer and wildlife food plot mixtures.
